Stardew Valley is a farming and life simulator developed by ConcernedApe and published by Chucklefish. Plus, this game is incredibly cheap with its DLCs, so there is zero chance of hurting your wallet. However, I cannot recommend this game enough for its replayability and simple gameplay, especially if you have a Steam Deck. I have personally seen the frames dropping down to 1FPS at times. While using some of the best practices to extend the Steam Deck battery life, such as adjusting the TDP, will net you a whopping five hours in the game, given its pixel art style, the frame rate will immediately dip down to an abysmal single-digit. As for the Steam Deck performance, it’s a double-edged sword. The game is extremely casual for everyone to pick up and play, and it’s super addictive. The goal of the game is to survive for as long as you can while discovering items, enemies, and more. At each level-up, you have the option to get randomized power-ups and items, and they help in fighting the horde. You play as one of the many heroes offered in the game and fight against hordes of enemies. Vampire Survivors is a time-survival game with roguelike elements in it. The first title on this list is the one I have been obsessed with for the last few months, and I blame my Steam Deck for it.
